About Us

The Rhody Ridge Foundation was established in 2015 in partnership with the Snohomish County Parks Department. Rhody Ridge is a Washington State non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. The foundation worked with Founta (Fir) Butler and the parks department to organize work parties and perform other activities to keep the garden neat and open to the public. Potential future plans include identifying and labeling all of the plant specimens, restoration of the garden to its original design, expansion into undeveloped areas, creating educational opportunities, and an event venue.
